IMGP1339The Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations is hosting two public information sessions about the woodlots proposed for Gambier Island.
In response to the comments received from the public, the Ministry  prepared a Gambier Island Information Package which will be further explained at the meeting.  The Ministry believes the two sessions will serve to better inform the stakeholders about the process prior to carrying out the next steps of the Woodlot tenures.

Please attend to learn more and have a say – the future of the Wild Heart of Howe Sound is at risk.

It would be great for the e-mail list of members of ‘Future of Howe Sound’ and other affiliated groups, to be advised when a meeting, such as the Monday night District of West Vancouver Council Meeting, take place.
I didn’t see notice of this anywhere — would have loved to have contributed my presence.
Even though not every one would be able to fit inside council chambers, the numbers turning out , and needing to stand outside, makes such a statement. This has had positive effect in the past, on every issue I can think of. KEEP UP THE WONDERFUL WORK EVERYBODY! Lucinda
