We are used to seeing wildlife in and around Howe Sound but over the past week as the weather showed some rare glimpses of summer some of our members caught a rare sight. We know there are bald eagles in Howe Sound. We know they live and nest all through Squamish and Brackendale.

Lately we’ve seen them further south and now we know why. From the photos the members took from the water it appears that the eagles have taken up residence in the trees in the McNab Estuary.
