Burnco Rock Products are planning to put a concrete aggregate mine at McNab Creek in the Howe Sound clearly visible from Lions Bay and the Sea to Sky corridor. Over the last couple weeks Burnco have started to talk to concerned parties and it’s become clear they are confident that their mine is going to happen.
A mine like this has significant environmental, economic and liveability issues for everyone who lives, works or plays in the newly rejuvenated Sound.
